22 million people (equivalent to 60% of the population) of Yemen are in desperate need of help from famine due to the current conflict. 11.3 million of its children face hunger, disease and are under threat of continuous air raids and bombardments.

The civilians who want to escape from the war and famine have to cross the minefields and active conflict zones. 2398 children have died and countless civilians injured due to airstrikes to date.

We cannot sit back in our comfortable homes and allow this to continue and must raise awareness and do whatever we can to help.

We have therefore organised a fund raising evening in conjunction with the Red Crescent (Kizilay) as well as other organisations in the UK and hope that with your support and help will raise as much funds as possible .

Like the fireworks that will light up the skies in New Year's eve,  we hope also with your help and donations to go someway to brighten up the lives of the many children and civilians.
