Story
Our parish undertook to support the children of forty medical workers who died helping others during the ebola crisis in Sierra Leone. We have a contact in their town (Kenema - where one of our parishioners was a doctor during the crisis) who distributes the money to the children as and when they need it. It's a tiny, almost no-cost charity, that makes a huge difference. It's also a debt of honour to some brave people who gave their lives fighting the epidemic.

Then we got these bread rolls from Asda for 10p!!! and a packet of biscuits for 40p. No fatted calf has ever been met with such a stream of joyous saliva
