Sadly, Jean passed away on the 24th April after a short illness and is sorely missed by us all.

In Jean’s memory we are setting up “The Jean Young Foundation” which will be used to help the most disadvantaged families. Jean was very passionate about this – “Every Child Matters!”. The foundation will pay for a variety of things such as, school trips, education, books, clothes, food, a weekend break, a trip to the cinema, a birthday cake - all things we take for granted but to others, it is a luxury!

Jean spent her life helping others whether it be donations, knowledge, guidance and wisdom. Over the years Jean taught English and History to thousands of children from England to Dubai, imparting her knowledge of not only the English curriculum, but also life skills. Jean continued this up to the age of 83 and was teaching English up to just the day before she was sadly admitted to hospital!

Jean was one of the most intelligent, knowledgeable, kindest and selfless people who always put others before herself. As such, we are asking that people make a donation, if they wish to, in Jean’s memory in the knowledge that you will be doing something that was very close to her heart.
