Regarding the sponsorship money raised so far. Firstly a massive thank you to everyone who has sponsored me and raised money for our school. It is amazing and this will make such a difference for our children. I will keep this page open and I will run another big race when I am healthy again and I will keep you all updated. Hi all, I am sorry to have to say but my injury has got the better of me. I haven't been able to run without pain for 4 weeks now and my physio has told me that if I don't rest and strengthen my leg I could turn my tear into a stress fracture. This is incredibly frustrating for me for a number of reasons. Not only because I feel like I am letting the school down but also because of how well I was hoping to run. I had never felt fitter. I will stay positive though, I just can not run on Sunday.

Dear all, Thank you for your sponsorship so far, this will already make such a difference to the children of Ravenstone. My build up towards the marathon was going fantastically well.... until two weeks ago when I tore my calf muscle! A slight disaster. After two weeks of no running, a lot of swimming and mild forms of depression.... I am running again. I have two weeks left until the marathon, unfortunately I feel my time, I wanted to run sub 2:30, may be gone but I am doing all I can to now get to the start line! fingers crossed.
