Some info about why I have chosen to run for this charity:
Leukaemia Research (LR) is the only charity in the UK dedicated exclusively to researching blood cancers and disorders including Leukaemia, Hodgkin's and other lymphomas, and myeloma.  Anyone, at any age can be diagnosed with blood cancer.  24,500 people in the UK are diagnosed every year.  LRThey support patients, their families and friends.  They need to raise more than £100 million over the next five years to sustain their investment, they receive no Government grants and there life-saving research depends entirely on voluntary donations.
