WHAT IS CURRY THUNDER!!! I hear you cry....well...

Curry Thunder is the car that I and three other chaps will be driving from Calais to Barcelona over the course of a weekend, about a 1000 miles all in all.

So what, thats easy surely...well maybe it is in a normal car, but Curry Thunder is no normal car.

Curry Thunder cost us chaps a grand total of £204 of some guy on eBay..

What we bought was a 1996 Volvo S70 T5 TURBOOOOO...and it shifts...when it drives.

Presently it doesn't drive to well, there is much to do but we have time as the trip is not till the 11th of September.

And we'll be doing this with another 60 odd cars all purchased at a similar price as part of the Barcelona Bangers September Rally.

Think we'll make it?  Will it make it to Barcelona? Will it even get us to Calais?

We think it will, and were doing this all for a good cause in Sue Ryder Care, if you want to check out what they do see the "about our charity" section on the page.

We attended the Kier Family Fun Day today to promote Curry Thunder and raise some more cash.

We did a "Guess the number of Balloons in the car (or Ballon as I put on the poster!)" competition.

We made a total of £51, so thanks to everyone who had a guess!

We launched the Curry Thunder Plunder Prize Draw at Kier on Friday the 17th of July. The draw will be made on the 3rd of August and so far we've had donations of £111!!

I'll add that to the offline total once the draw is done.
