We are Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity. We stop at nothing to help give seriously ill children childhoods that are fuller, funner and longer. Because we believe no childhood should be lost to illness.

Story

Thank you for visiting our fundraising page.

All donations that we receive through this site will be go towards the Guernsey GOSH Home from Home appeal. This charity is aiming to raise the huge sum of £500,000 which will pay the renovation costs of a single floor of The Patient Hotel directly oposite the Great Ormond Street Hospital. This floor will be called "The Guernsey Floor"

We are raising money for this extremely worthwhile cause and hope that you can help us achieve our £20,000 target.

------------------------------------------------------------------ The Polar Race that we are entering starts on 9th April 2005. It is a 400 mile race on foot or ski through 3 checkpoints. It is rumoured to be pretty chilly -40c, the local wildlife is likely to include polar bears and to top it all we are expected to race all the way dragging our food and accomodation behind us on paulks weighing 70kg! To find out more please see our own website www.cwpolarteam.com ------------------------------------------------------------------ Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor us: The Guernsey GOSH Home from Home appeal will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you. It will be amazing for us to reach our £20,000 target and we are sure we can achieve this with your support. Thanks again, Steve and Simon.
