Cycle Holland 2008 · 22 April 2008

A one-stop shop of integrated therapy services helping children and young people with movement disorders reach their full potential. The sooner we act, the greater the impact. We offer physiotherapy, conductive education, occupational therapy, music therapy, speech and language therapy and DMI.

Story

We did it! In August, we cycled 350 miles over dunes of the North Sea coast, across the Ijsselmeer lake and through a Dutch National Park. And we endured many a saddle sore and aching knee. It is because we are raising funds for The Hornsey Trust. The charity runs the only specialist centre and school for children with cerebral palsy in the London region.

We  were not under pressure to reach the target amount of money as we know that every pound we raise will make a real, lasting difference. Our aim was just to cross the German border and arrive in Bielefeld in time to catch our plane home !

The good news is that it's not too late to support us! Here are a few examples of what your sponsorship will help our charity buy. £5: two-handed cup or picture book, £20: one parent and child session, £50: a home visit or switch access computer game, £100: a ladder back chair or new reading scheme.
