Story
We made it!!
For the third time running, a team of Cambridge University Press, supported by friends and family members, took part in the annual London to Cambridge charity bike ride to raise money for Fauna & Flora International. We had a great team of 35 people on the ride this year, including a "cycling zoo" with Rob Harris from FFI in his thick, furry gorilla costume, plus a bear, a wolf, a lion, a blue bird, a zebra, a turtle, a fox and two bumble bees.
Why did we do the ride?
Our fundraising efforts this time will go directly to an urgent appeal that FFI have launched recently after a brutal attack on the Okapi Wildlife Reserve headquarters in the Congo Basin, in which seven members of staff as well 15 Okapis were killed by poachers.
