Story
In September 2008 you may remember we raised £5,800 for The Prostate Project by cycling the length of The Thames. Well, we are at it again, and in August 2009 we are cycling from Maryport on the west coast of England, along the entire length of Hadrian's Wall, from Bowness-on-Solway (Cumbria) to Wallsend (North Tyneside). This will be a 135 mile over a 3 day period.
We are again raising money for The Prostate Project, which seeks to increase awareness of the existence of prostate cancer and to encourage wider recognition of the symptoms of the disease and swifter action in seeking GPs' advice. Working in a small recruitment business we are very aware that these are difficult times but people are still dying of this disease, a disease which is curable if spotted early enough, so we are keen to continue to raise money.
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. The Prostate Project will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
Thank you all so much
