This summer I'm attempting to cycle from Moscow to Ulaanbaatar, the capital of Mongolia. I'd like to take this opportunity to ask you to support the work of Survival. 

Survival Iinternational helps tribal peoples defend their lives, protect their lands and determine their own futures. 
Tribal peoples' lands are invaded by settlers, by businesses such as oil, mining or logging companies, by cattle ranchers, by private or government ‘development’ schemes such as road-building and dams, or for nature reserves and game parks. We believe that public opinion is the most effective force for change. Its power will make it harder, and eventually impossible, for governments and companies to oppress tribal peoples.

I'm travelling to Russia by train. The pedalling will commence for real in Moscow on the 15th of June. I'm expecting to arrive in Mongolia in late August or early September. I will return to London by train.
