Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

On Saturday 8th May, Sunday 23rd May and Sunday 6th June there are NACC Sponsored walks

https://nacc.org.uk/content/general/ccwalk.asp

As there could be a number of people planning on going from the online support group, Crohn's Zone, thought it would be easier to set up a link to pass onto  friends/relatives/anyone else who may like to donate

There is no obligation to donate but if you can get more people to sponsor us - that would be great.

Together, UC and Crohn’s Disease affect about 1 person in every 400 in the United Kingdom population

Ulcerative Colitis (UC) and Crohn’s Disease are chronic (ongoing) conditions, which are not infectious

The most common age for diagnosis is between 10 and 40 (although diagnosis can occur at any age)

In both UC and Crohn’s there is a higher chance of developing either illness if you have a close relative who has the condition

In 10-15% of cases, UC and Crohn’s may be difficult to distinguish

Men and women suffer equally
