“If it happens again I’m leaving, I’ll pack all my things and go" - UB40, Feb 1984
Well the truth is it has happened again. Once more we are putting our bodies through the pain barrier to ensure we meet the £10,000 target we’ve imposed on ourselves. The beneficiaries this year will be the Spinal Research charity. Incredibly, they find ways to repair spinal cord injury and reverse paralysis that results from it. A really worthwhile charity, I’m sure you'll agree. To sponsor go to http://www.justgiving.com/dacpain
Over the past couple of years we have been overwhelmed by the amount people have given. In the 2007 we raised £6000, in 2008 we raised 7500 and this year we are hoping to reach the magic £10,000. While we appreciate that there is a recession on (even though they never mention it on the news) we would ask you to dig deep and give to this charity. Even a £1 is better than nothing at all (yeah cheers Suter) and any more than this would be a massive bonus.
This years runners and general lunatics are Stuart Cowell (Head of IT), Paul Smith (IT Networks Manager), Russ Elliott (Ex-DAC and regular at the Coach and Horses) and Sarai Denny (Paul Smith's partner and part time magician in the Coach and Horses).
