Our aim is to attempt the 3 peaks challenge which consists of climbing the highest peaks in Scotland (Ben Nevis), England (Scafell Pike) and Wales (Snowdon), in 24 hours (including travel time). We aim to start at the foot of Ben Nevis at 6am on the 21st June, hopefully finishing no more than 24 hours later at the foot of Snowdon. This equates to 26 miles of walking with 9,500 feet of ascent. There are 15 walkers and Alan Lynch has kindly volunteered to drive the mini bus in between the hills.
