Story
Hi,
Thanks for taking the time to look at my 2009 fundraising page. For those of you who may not be aware, my eldest, Alex (8), has a form of Autism called Asperger syndrome, hence me running for the National Autistic Society.
After 2008's success, (many thanks to those of you who step up every year, and welcome to the new arrivals !), I've been chilling - doing zero running, saving it all up, and relaxing.
Now the work begins. I've given myself hardly any time - again - but hopefully will get myself round the 10 mile course without too much pain. I'll own up to a bit of a niggling right knee already, but mark my words, I'll be there - rain - wind or sunshine.
I'm getting steadily slower - Age I guess and the spare tyre ! 2007 - 1hr 39. 2008 1hr 45. So - I'm aiming for anything under 2hrs.
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: National Autistic Society gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
So please sponsor me now!
