On 1st December, after operating the 12 hour British Airways flight from London, 14 Heroes/fools will be launching themselves off a mountain in front of the famous Table Mountain, in Capetown - South Africa. Holding on tight to some bits of string, a parachute and a prayer! Why you ask? Good question- The reason is to raise valuable funds for the most amazing charity “Dreamflight“ which enables children, whose lives have been shattered by terrible illnesses or disability, to experience a holiday of a lifetime to Florida. This is not Just a holiday, it enables the children to gain confidence and meet other children with different conditions, who will become lifelong friends, widening their perspective, as they travel (without their parents, carers or siblings) with a group of medical & non medical volunteers, for a 10 day adventure, that they will always cherish and will change their lives.
