I'm taking on the Aspire Channel Swim 2017, helping Marie's team swim the distance of the Channel over 12 weeks to raise money for Aspire. I'm going to swim at least 6,250 meters! Three times a day someone is paralysed by an injury that means they can't walk and sometimes not able to do many things for themselves. Aspire is a charity that provides equipment, advice, housing and grants that spinal cord injured people need to live their lives independently.
