Story
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page.
Completing my first London Marathon back in the year 2000 was probably the best day of my life. The atmosphere and overwhelming sense of achievement outwieghed all the pain and aches I suffered for a week after the event. I knew it would be somethng that I would want to do again, and again, and again......
On 13th April 2008 I shall be putting myself through it all again. On this occasion, I shall be running for the charity Shelter - a charity that I have closely followed for the past 18 months after watching a moving BBC documentary last year called 'Evicted' (see link below).

Shelter believes everyone should have a home. They help more than 170 000 people a year fight for their rights, get back on their feet and find and keep a home. They also tackle the root causes of bad housing by campaigning for new laws, policies, and solutions. Shelter Families Project provide practical help and support for families in temporary accommodation, to help them resettle into permanent tenancies.
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Shelter will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
So please, please, please sponsor me now!
Many thanks for your support.
