The Dark Peak Challenge is a  gruelling circuit around the Peak District National Park covering 30 challenging miles of steep climbs, deep bogs and rocky terrain.

We are making this effort to raise money for a really worthwhile cause, Derian House. 

Care offered at Derian House Children’s Hospice is focused on specialist palliative respite and terminal care for children who may not live to reach adulthood.

Support for children and their families is offered with both vision and experience, warmth and sensitivity in a “home from home” environment.

Partnerships of Care with the child and family are fostered through contact teams and key work support systems, and acknowledging and respecting parents as primary carers.

I hope you will agree that this is a worthwhile cause and will dig deep to support this event and raise much needed funds for the Children's Hospice.
