<p>The Dark Peak Challenge is a&nbsp; gruelling circuit around the Peak District National Park covering 30 challenging miles of steep climbs, deep bogs and&nbsp;rocky terrain.</p> <p>We are making this effort&nbsp;to raise money for a really worthwhile cause, Derian House.&nbsp;</p> <p>Care offered at Derian House Children&rsquo;s Hospice is focused on specialist palliative respite and terminal care for children who may not live to reach adulthood.</p> <p style="text-align: left;">Support for children and their families is offered with both vision and experience, warmth and sensitivity in a &ldquo;home from home&rdquo; environment.</p> <p style="text-align: left;">Partnerships of Care with the child and family are fostered through contact teams and key work support systems, and acknowledging and respecting parents as primary carers.</p> <p style="text-align: left;">I hope you will agree that this is a worthwhile cause and will dig deep to support this event and raise much needed funds for the Children's Hospice.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
