Story

UPDATE (26 April, 2010): I'm glad to report I completed all 26.2 miles yesterday without stopping in 4hours 25mins. If you have sponsored me, a big thank you. It means a lot to Trinity Hospice and the great work they do day in, day out for patients and their friends and families.

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving* page. I'm running the London Marathon for the first time to raise cash for Trinity Hospice in Clapham.

My connection to Trinity is through a friend who was treated as both an outpatient and inpatient before he passed away in 2008. Trinity does an amazing job of caring for people with serious illnesses, but is reliant on raising 75% of its income through fundraising activities such as this.

I'm training hard six days a week so please donate. Your contribution will be greatly appreciated.

*Gift Aid donations do not count towards my fundraising total, but do get sent directly to the charity.

About the charity

We believe every moment matters so we go above and beyond to help our patients and their families make the most of every moment they have left. All our services are free of charge. We receive a 26% of our funding from the NHS and rely on donations to raise the extra £12m we need each year.
