Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Every Two Years Club Triumph hosts the Round Britain Reliability Run, (RBRR). Voted the toughest Car Club event in Britain. The Run has been taking place since 1966 making the 2016 event the 25th event and the golden anniversary  run. Back in 66 the cars came direct from the factory and from local dealers and it took place as a publicity stunt, proving the ability of Heralds, Spitfires, 2000's and all the Marques models. In the 1990's  the run took on a charitable aspect and has since raised over £500000 for various children's and health charities. This year is the biggest entry ever and the Club has chosen to support Guide Dogs for the Blind. The Event will leave Knebworth  House In Hertfordshire at 7pm on Friday 7th October. Team Gertie consists of Steve Radley, Darren Sharp and Dave (Padder Born on FB) and Gertie is a very well traveled Triumph 2500 Mk 1 Saloon from 1969 vintage.    Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. The ability to get around is vital in order to live a full life yet thousands of people with sight loss never leave home alone. We empower visually impaired people to do that and rely on the support of the public to fund the guide dog service.
