Note to self: Never, ever go for dinner with a senior client who is going through a mid-life crisis!  For some unknown reason it puts you in a position where you allow yourself to be coerced into running a half marathon with 33 days to train for it.

Seriously - this is exactly what I'm planning to do by taking part in the Blue Cross - Royal Parks Half Marathon on 12/10/2008. The one chink of light from this whole sorry story is that I'm doing it for a good cause and I'd appreciate a bit of financial backing for my troubles. Our chosen charity, Autism Speaks, raises money for research into autism spectrum disorders and needs your support. Please do give generously and feel free to come along on the 12th and laugh at two middle aged men wheezing their way around some of the great parks of London.
