WE DID IT!!!!!!!!! (we finished the marathon and achieved our donation target!)

After 6 months of training in the cold, rain, wind and snow - sunday's marathon provided us with the hottest day of the year which was the last thing we needed really, but with the help of a few friends and each other we somehow managed to finish!!

A special thanks to our pit stop girls (Emma and Flo) for our magic sponges and jelly babies,;Grittbag for the fizz at the finish and the taxi home, and looking after the Diva post-race - someone had to do it!!; Grittbag, Emma, Flo, Amy, Sid, Marie, Neil, Sarah, Nicola and Chris for being there at the end and taking us for the loveliest pint ever and Yarra for her amazing reaction when she noticed Davey and cycling alongside us with Keith, George and Mila. We would also like to thank Tina and her Mum for Cheering us on at Rottingdean - who else would be there?!, And of course Clarence, with Ben and Sophie for a much needed hug near the end.

Davey is trying to talk me into another as we we are capable of a better time than 5:47hrs 25 secs - but yesterday our goal was to cross that line together which is what we did! Next year - we will aim for the top ten!
