This is the first of many climbs and endurance event's I intend undertaking over the coming months & years. This is totally self funded so all donations go to Cancer Research UK.

Around 289,000 new cases of cancer are diagnosed each year in the UK and every two minutes someone is diagnosed. More than 1 in 3 people will develop some form of cancer during their lifetime. Breast, lung, bowel and prostate cancers together account for over half of all new cancers each year.'

After just suddenly losing my father recently it made me realise life is for living. 'Why put things off and procastinate?' Just appreciate what we have and live for now, enjoying every moment of our lives. Helping others in some way along the way is a worthy thing. Its become a huge belief in my life now..

I chose this mountain as a start to my many adventures to come because its challenging enough and climbing has always been an interest of mine but something I've always put off.

MOUNT TOUBKAL :-

Jebel Toubkal is a mountain peak in southwestern Morocco, located in the Toubkal National Park. At 4,167 metres (13,670 feet), it is the highest peak in the Atlas Mountains and in North Africa. It is located 63 km south of the city of Marrakech, in the Toubkal National Park.
