Story

Hello and thank you for visiting our fundraising page.

On Saturday 6th June 10:40am myself, Gary, Jamie and Ian competed in the Blenheim Mazda Triathlon. This involved a totally mad half mile swim across Blenheim lake with 200 very eager swimmers doing what they can to overtake. A 20km bike (3 laps of the grounds) and finishing with a 5 km run.

You'll be pleased to know that despite a terribly wet day, all four of us completed the course safely and within 14 minutes of each other with Ian coming in first with a very good time of 1hr 31:33. I was just behind him with 1hr 35:09.

I would like to take this opportunity to personally thank everybody that sponsored us for the LEUKAEMIA RESEARCH as you can see we have flown past the target which I am extremely proud to send off to them. I understand between us we may have reached £1000 which is fantastic. I would also like to thank those that attended the day and cheered us on despite the constant rain.

This page is still very much open if anyone would still like to make a donation, just please click the sponsor link below. Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Leukaemia Research gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

Thank you all again for your support.

Dave, Jamie, Gary, Ian
