Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
ADAPT was set up in 1995 by parents Fiona and Rob Morris whose son Harry was in the Special Care Baby Unit in Leicester for nine months. Despite having the support of family and friends, both Fiona and Rob felt isolated as they struggled to cope with the demands of a sick baby and the reality of every day family life. They also felt their experiences were not ones they could share with most new parents and this prompted them to set up ADAPT to help support parents and families going through the same problems.
Its a small charity with no government funding and survives entirely on volunteers fund raising - the least I can do is climb a few hills to help !!!
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure and I'd really appreciate it if you could find the time to help by donating a few pounds.
Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
