On the 29th July I am embarking on the Hadrian's Wall Challenge with three friends. Basically this means walking coast to coast across England from Newcastle upon Tyne in the east to the Solway Firth in the west. We have made the commitment to complete this walk in just four days.  It's a total distance of 84 miles so we will be walking between 18 and 24 miles each day - ouch!

I am raising money for the Prospect Hospice in Swindon.  The Prospect Hospice is the only provider of dedicated end of life care in our community and my Dad spent his last few weeks there last year.  I was incredibly impressed by the care and professionalism shown by the staff at the Hospice and would really like to help them a little with their future work.
