We campaign, support and fund research to stop people dying of bowel cancer

Story

As many of you know Mark sadly lost his mother earlier this year to cancer.  Having seen this devastating illness first hand, we want to try and do something which, although small, will contribute in someway to the ongoing fight to find a way to reduce the impact of the disease.

Prior to this we had no concept of the sheer number of people are affected by bowel cancer, the second most common cause of cancer death in the UK.  We have decided to attempt the London "Run to The Beat" Half Marathon on 5th Oct to raise funds for Bowel Cancer UK as a suitable way to try and contribute something back to those who are fighting the illness.

We know everyone gets fundraising requests very regularly but anything you could contribute to our cause is very much appreciated, and will hopefully go towards helping others to avoid what we experienced this year.

Thanks for your support - we really do hate running, so it is very much appreciated!
