Story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

On July 1st  I  cycled from London to Paris.  Over 5 days I rode nearly 500km - which as hard as it was, was a fantastic experience. On the first two days of this trip the temperatures were the hottest ever experienced by the organisers on any of the previous rides - so as you can imagine fluids needed to be replenished - and regrettably they were!! Aside from the aching thighs (and a few sore heads!) it was a fantastic amount of fun.

Thanks to all of you have given so generously, it really is much appreciated.

The money raised is going towards Chelmsford Mencap Daybreak, which is a holiday play scheme a friend runs for disabled children.  All the money raised will help to take over 150 disabled children from all over Essex on day trips throughout the summer.

Many of these kids are severely disabled and don't get many opportunities for days out - this is a small charity and every penny raised will be spent directly on making sure these kids have a great summer - so PLEASE sponsor me if you haven't done so already.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Chelmsford Mencap gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
