I intended to do the Great North Run last year but due to injury I had to pull out, To make up for the non attendance and failure to raise money for Guide Dogs I have set my self a target of double what I wanted to raise.

In trying to raise twice as much I also thought I should make things a little more difficult - I am not just running one half marathon - The great north run on the 5th October but the Royal Parks half marathon the following week and then the Great south Run (10 miles 2 weeks later)

Yep! tall order, I don't have the physique of a runner and carrying over 15 stone in weight around 13.1 miles twice in 7 days is not going to be easy
