We provide professional help and support to people affected by any neuro condition

Story

Hello and thanks for visiting my fundraising page!

You will no doubt have heard of Tim Brabants, Olympic sprint canoeing champion in the recent Beijing Olympics. What you might not know about him is that he is captaining a team of 86 runners, myself included,  who are taking part in the London Marathon 09 to raise money for the Brain and Spine Foundation. This charity provides an information service for the thousands of people affected by a neurological condition (brain tumour, MS and Alzheimers to mention but a few) every year. For many, their helpline, staffed by qualified neuro nurses, provides vital support and information at a difficult and worrying time.

A donation of just £10 will allow the BSF to send an information pack to a helpline caller. £50 covers the cost of running the helpline for an hour. Please help out as much as you can!

Don't forget to tick the Giftaid box if you're a UK taxpayer-the charity gets an extra 28% at no extra cost to you.

So please sponsor me now!

Thanks,
David
