Story

Happy days before the dreadful disease of mesothelioma took David's life.

Mesothelioma is a form of cancer that affects the lining of the chest and is usually associated with asbestos exposure.  There is currently no cure and the medical profession have limited knowledge about the disease and how it can be treated.

Much more needs to be done to help sufferers deal with this very difficult illness through diagnosis and treatment.  Also public awareness of the dangers of asbestos exposure needs to be increased.

In David’s memory we have set up this page to support the June Hancock Mesothelioma Research Fund.  The fund supports mesothelioma research, provides information and advice for sufferers and their families and raises awareness of the disease.

If you would like to donate and maybe leave a message in memory of David it would be greatly appreciated.

With many thanks

Anne, Carol and Angela
