Story
Ladies and Gents,
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page.
Some may know that someone close to me was last year diagnosed with prostate cancer. To this end, In a moment of madness, I have volunteered...yes volunteered to climb up Snowdon in May with 500 other likeminded folk on behalf of the Prostate Cancer Research Centre.
The good news is that there appears to be some places left! If any of you think you are up for the challenge and would like to take part please see www.snowdon500.co.uk for more info.
Prostate cancer is the most common male cancer in the United Kingdom. Each year more than 30,000 men are diagnosed with it and more than 10,000 men die of it. The Prostate Cancer Research Centre's mission is to raise funds for research to improve the survival and quality of life of men with prostate cancer.
Even if you can't donate, particularly for the men amongst you, but also the wives and girlfriends, do me a favour and get clued up on prostate cancer.
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Prostate Cancer Research Centre will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
Many thanks for your support.
