We are Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity. We stop at nothing to help give seriously ill children childhoods that are fuller, funner and longer. Because we believe no childhood should be lost to illness.

Story

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page.

On Sunday 10 August 2014 I will be taking part in RideLondon-Surrey 100 to raise money for Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity, in memory of our Max.  Most of our friends and family know all about Max but for those who don't, he was born in Dubai on 6th January 1999, 4 months premature and weighing just 690gms. During his 320 days with us he battled almost everything prematurity could throw at him and was and will always be the most inspirational person, young or old, I will ever know. To be his Dad is a privilege.

I am very grateful for having been awarded one of GOSH’s limited places and in return I hope to raise £750 for them.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe – they will never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity, saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Please pass on the address of the fundraising webpage to anyone else you know who may like to sponsor me, and look out for me on the day!  My rider number is 25838. As the route passes our house my family only have to walk to the end of the drive, but any support on the remaining 99 miles would be gratefully received!
