We fund research into type 1 diabetes to find a cure for type 1 diabetes

Story

My Challenge was to run 103 miles and climb 30,000 feet within 46 hours by completing the largest Ultra Trail Mountain Race in the world (2200 competitors from 40 countries). The race started on 24th August in Chamonix, France and passed through Courmayer in Italy and Champex in Switzerland before returning to Chamonix
This was the toughest race I have ever completed. It was made much harder because I had nutrition and hydration problems for over half of the race. Despite this I finished in 73rd place and 3rd out of 92 British runners.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor me now!

Many thanks for your support.
