Having completed the 2006 London Marathon (raising £1800 for The Childrens Trust in Tadworth) I had a mad moment last Summer and thought why not have another go!  So here I am again relying on the support of my family and friends to help me raise funds for my chosen charity - Help the Hospices.

This is obviously another charity which is very close to my heart as Mum was cared for at St Francis Hospice in Havering, where she passed away on the 21st December 1989. They supported us through a very difficult and sad time.

The UK'S hospice movement touches the lives of an estimated 1 million people each year offering dignity, peace, calm and freedom from pain to adults and children living with a terminal illness and their families.
