Story
Following our 'never to be repeated' marathon effort in 2007, we have well and truly got the bug again, and will be repeating our feat this year at the London Marathon on 26th April!
So why are we once again giving up our social lives and family to put ourselves through all this pain? We lost our dear uncle Vinubhai Patel in November 2007 to Motor Neurone's Disease. Those of you that met Vinubhai in his final months will have seen first hand the devastating effects of Motor Neurone's Disease, which still has no cure.
The Motor Neurone's Disease (MND) Association is a charity which supports people with the disease, whilst raising funds for research into the treatment and possible cure for the disease. We are running for MND Association once again this year to do our bit to raise money to support their valuable work.
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor us: Motor Neurone Disease Association gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
So please, please sponsor us now!
