Story

We did it !!!!!!!!!!!! (well -  Sammy ran it, Amy cheered her on!)

Thank you so much to all of you who have donated - your support means so much. If you havent donated its not too late! We still need a few extra pounds! And just to encourage you to part with your hard earned cash - even a quid!- it was EXTREMELY hard work - im really struggling to walk today!! And its all for a good cause!!!

PLEASE OH PLEASE!!!!! :)

My finish time was 5hrs 7mins! Go Sammy Go!!!

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - we raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now. Alice Amy would like to add in a personal note to all her friends, that you have to donate a minimum of ten pounds or I will unfriend you. And not just in the facebook way.

Lots of people die after running their first marathon. These are usually unfit, unhealthy, untrained and undesirable people JUST like Sammy and I so please bear that in mind and donate generously, how bad will you feel if you don't and then one (or both) of us collapses at the finish line... (or before)

The ability to get around is vital in order to live a full life yet thousands of people with sight loss never leave home alone. We empower visually impaired people to do that and rely on the support of the public to fund the guide dog service.
