Story

This year the team aim to cycle ‘The Most Dangerous Road In The World’, in an attempt to raise over £50,000 for the Rainbows Children's Hospice based in Loughborough, they are extending their facilities to build a new wing with 6 new bedrooms to accomodate older children.
The team comprise of Paul Williams, Nigel Bosworth, Dean Richards, Andy Cowlam, Andy Bray, Jim Grant, Pete Lovett, Andy Friend, Bob Butler, Harry Roberts, Baz Bowers, Jason Cayless, Tim Livesey & Mark Milner, Dave Anderson, Paul Anderson, Baz Russell, Keith Wheatcroft, Dick Frettsome, John Roberts & Steve Smith.
The Trip The aim is to ride the North Yungas Road which is considered to be 'The most dangerous in the world' for motorists. If other roads could be considered impassable, this one clearly endangers your life. It runs in the Bolivian Andes, 70 km from La Paz to Coroico, and plunges down almost 3,600 meters in an orgy of extremely narrow hairpin curves and 800-meter abyss near-misses. The narrow -- occasionally very narrow -- track hugs the walls of the sheer valley as it snakes its way beneath waterfalls and rocky overhangs. The road will be ridden in a day and will challenge the riders nerve and skill to their maximum.
