Back in 2007 Ruth was diagnosed with bowel cancer. Through the care that she was given by the North Bristol NHS Trust and especially the colorectal department she has made a full recovery.

This May, Ruth will celebrate her 80th birthday and she has decided that that she would like to give something back to the people who cared for her. So she has asked her family to take part in a sponsored walk to raise money for North Bristol NHS Trust.(Colorectal Cancer Research Fund)

Danny and Frances, Lois and Jon, Melinda and Adam and of course Richard are all looking forward to walking the walk :) but we need you to help us raise the money!!
