Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On Sunday October 10th 2010 I am going to be running ( and probably walking...crawling etc)  the Royal Parks Half Marathon to raise money for The MigraineTrust.

Migraine is more than just a headache; it is the most common neurological condition.  It affects over 6 million people in the UK  and is more prevalent than diabetes, epilepsy and asthma combined. However it is the least publicly funded of all neurological illnesses relative to its economic impact.

Those who have migraine can appreciate how completely debilitating they can be.  As well as a pounding head there's the nausea, the stomach cramps, fainting, light sensitivity, temporary neurological deficits such as fainting, paralysis or weakness of one side of the body, or double vision and more. Fun times for all! Simply put, migraines suck and having had them most of my adult life, a cure that actually works would be amazing.

Any donations, even £1, would be hugely appreciated and goes towards research to find a cure - thank you so much!
