On yer BikeThe Ding-a-Lings, a small team of wanna-be cyclists, have successfully cycled 60 miles across Cheshire on the 5th September in aid of The NMC.
Check out our route on the National Cycle Network - Route71. The route started at one of the highest points in the county at -TeggsNoseCountryPark and extended down to the westernmost point in Cheshire overlooking the Welsh hills at Neston on the Wirral.
Inspirational Team Leader Arthur “Handlebars” Roberts had cunningly reassured the other riders that by starting the route at the highest point no pedalling was required and it would be a simple free-wheel all the way to the finish -yea right!!!!
In true Ding-a-Ling spirit we all had bells fitted on our bikes. If you heard the sound of distant tinkling in a leafly Cheshire lane ………… we had obviously over-hydrated!
We do hope you will support us if you haven't already - it's not too late. Thanks to all who have sponsored us and in anticipation, to those who will be sponsoring us now.

This is an amazing and unique charity available to those living with this cruel and relentless muscle wasting condition, and their carers.
