Story

Thanks for visiting our D&B fundraising page.

The Thomas Ball Children's Cancer Fund is D&B's chosen charity to support this year and to kick it off Niall Mitchell, Peta Clifton, Nicky Keyworth, Stephen Dearing and Kay Galvin have entered the British 10K London Run taking place Sunday 6th July.  As friends, family and colleagues of the team we are looking for your support and generous donations.  D&B have kindly promised to match the total monies raised by you all which will go towards helping to relieve sickness and distress among children suffering from cancer and their families.

The race starts at 9.35am outside the legendary Hard Rock Cafe on Piccadilly. The route will take our runners past central London's world famous historic and iconic landmarks.
Taking part along with the D&B team will be olympic athletes and celebrities from stage and screen, as well as tens of thousands fun and recreational runners who will also be raising millions of pounds for the hundreds of participating charities and other causes.
Please feel free to come along with your friends and family to support the D&B team as it promises to be a great day out.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor the team and The Thomas Ball Children's Cancer Fund gets your money faster and, if you’re a taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

About the charity

The object of the charity is to relieve sickness and distress among children suffering from cancer and their families. The trustees do this in any way that will be beneficial to the sick child & family. This is usually in the form of free holidays taken in one of the charity's properties on the coast in Hampshire. It also provides play/medical equipment for hospitals/individuals, organises special treats, raises awareness of childhood cancer & donates funds for UK neuroblastoma research
