Story
The OWR project Cycling from Bolton to Vauxhall for MacMillan Cancer Support
Oliver Richards has been part of my Daughter Catherine's life for the last seven years. They have travelled together, supported each other though University, set up home in London and developed independent careers.
Oliver was diagnosed with a rare form of bone cancer last Easter. He has had major surgery to replace his thigh bone, eight months of Chemotherapy and one month of Radiotherapy.
Despite the pain, nausea, anaemia, and multiple admissions to hospital he has shown courage, humour and consideration for others throughout.
Oliver has been helped by MacMillan cancer support during this time. Charlie and I want to acknowledge the help they have given with this fund raising effort.
