UPDATE 13th June
Well, we did it in a grand total of 7 hours and 20 minutes
Got a few blisters to prove it, but the day went well and we were still walking strong at the end, maybe we should have kept going!!
Thanks to all who have supported us and helped us raise such a fantastic sum of money, it is much appreciated.

Thanks for visiting our fundraising page. We are sisters, Donna & Sheilah, who have teamed up to do the Ribbon Walk for Breast Cancer Care on June 13th at Scone Palace. Together we are known as Sisters with Blisters The Ribbon Walk is a 20 mile trek around the grounds of the palace.
Donna says: I was treated for breast cancer in 2008 and as a result of my experience, I discovered the wonderful amount of support available to those in a similar situation. Now, having finished all my difficult treatments, I want to do this walk for two reasons:
1. To give something back to a wonderful charity that provides an invaluable service
2. Along the way, get myself back to fighting fit after everything my poor body has been through!
Sheilah says: I am very grateful for the treatment and support my Big Sis received and have my own reasons for doing this walk:
1. To say thank you to such a great charity
2. Attempt to get myself back in shape after a few years of slight (!) over-indulgence!
3. She's making me!!
So, the ideal solution was to combine both our goals into the 20 mile Ribbon Walk
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Breast Cancer Care gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
