We support people with dementia in Scotland to make sure nobody faces dementia alone

Story

Well, we did it!  And in record time too (for us)!

The team managed to complete the 26.2 mile course 4:27:54s, which i hope you all agree was a good effort.

There is still time to donate as the page will remain open for 4 weeks after the main event, so you have until the 25th June to get your donations in.

Thanks again to all of you who have supported us and donated your hard earned to a worthy cause.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

On the 25th of May 2008 we (Brian Howat, Derek McGuire, Gillian Walker and Paul Black) will be taking part in the Edinburgh Marathon Hairy Haggis Relay event to raise awareness for Alzheimer Scotland.

Alzheimer Scotland exists to help people with dementia and their carers. They provide information, support and a network of services and carers' support groups around Scotland. For more information please visit the Alzheimer Scotland website, www.alzscot.org

Please dig deep and help Alzheimer Scotland raise much needed funds. Whether it's £5 or £50, it all helps!

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor us: Alzheimer Scotland will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please, don't forget about Alzheimer Scotland and sponsor us now!

Many thanks for your support.
