Story

Thanks for visiting our fundraising page.

This is Doug's third, Dave & Kev's first year doing the cross, a 20 mile run followed by a  30 mile cycle across Scotland.

Doug was in the top fundraising team last year so thank you very much for all your kind donations

The "Cross" is special in that it focuses on local charities which this year are: Lochleven Community Minibus, Chest, Heart & Stroke Scotland (independent charity), Birchwood Highland (mental health recovery centre) & The Seagull Trust (therapeutic trips on adapted canal boats)

See http://www.highlandcross.co.uk for more info.

In its 27 years  it has raised £2.7 million for many local charities and we would be very grateful if you could help us to add as much as possible to this total this year.

We all work for Lifescan so any donation you give will be matched by our company doubling the amount that goes to the charities.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Highland Cross gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor me now (and pass this address on to anyone who is rich enough or daft enough)

Thanks

Doug, Dave & Kev
