Gay Girls of Gloucestershire will be hosting their very first GGG Drag King Night on November 27th 2010 at EXS Nightclub in Cheltenham.  Members of the group will be performing as Drag Kings to raise money for the Macmillan Cancer Support, a most worthy cause that is very close to our hearts.

We are still looking for performers and supporters, so please get in contact if you wish to participate either as a Drag King or as a helper!  If you are thinking of performing, then you will need to come up with a song to perform to, singing is not necessary, miming is safer alternative! You can perform a solo, as a duet or a group act.  Choose a song that you feel comfortable with and know the words!  Then come up with a suitable act name and get in touch!

Anyone wanting to come along but not perform, we are encouraging the audience to also “Drag Up” and join in the fun, entry is on a donation basis, minimum of £2 and if you are feeling more generous then please feel free to give more!

We will also be holding a charity raffle, so please help out by bringing a suitable prize that can be used!  So far we have offers for back massages, Microsoft software, bottles of wine and calendars so please get in touch if you are able to offer anything!

Also on the night, the GGG Founder and Event Organiser will be offering to have her head shaved for charity if enough money is raised!
