Story

Thank you for visiting our JustGiving page.

On 10th September, 2010 we will be embarking on the journey of a lifetime by driving from Beijing to Paris, a journey of over 14,000 kilometres. It will take us five weeks, ending in Paris on 16th October.

The route:   Beijing - Great Wall of China - Inner Mongolia -The Gobi Desert - Ulaan Baatar - Outer Mongolia - Kazakhstan - Kyrgystan - Tashkent - Uzbekhistan - Samarkand - Turkmenistan - Iran - Tabriz - Turkey - Istanbul- Greece-Italy-France-Paris

If you think the trip is sufficiently challenging and our cause worthwhile, please  sponsor us now! 100% of all donations will go to the Kathmandu Contemporary Arts Centre. If we raise the full amount KCAC will be able to set up Nepal’s first Open Access Print Workshop – we are funding all the expenses of the trip ourselves.

About the charity

Kathmandu Contemporary Arts Centre's mission is to act as a catalyst for contemporary artists in Nepal and promote their work abroad. In 2010 KCAC established Nepal's first international contemporary arts centre in Patan and began giving scholarships to emerging Nepali artists.
