We inform, educate, inspire, and engage to help young people with epilepsy.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.  I am inspired by my eldest son Harry who has had to live with epilepsy since he was 4-years old. I am raising money for the National Centre for Young People with Epilepsy to help children like Harry and their families.

Epilepsy affects over 60,000 children and young people in the UK. Most epilepsy can be controlled through medication but for about 10% of children, epilepsy can bring learning, communication and social difficulties.

For a small proportion, severe epilepsy can be a life shattering condition, resulting in profound emotional, social and intellectual problems as well as physical disabilities.

The National Centre for Young People with Epilepsy (NCYPE) is the UK's major provider of specialist education, treatment and support to children and young people with epilepsy.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.

Young Epilepsy is dedicated to standing up for children and young people with epilepsy. We’re here for them. But we need your support because epilepsy is limiting the chances of thousands of children today and may continue to do so for the rest of their lives. Together we create possible.
